I always find ways to keep myself updated with the latest make up trends and techniques by enrolling in classes, workshops or watching youtube make up tutorials.
Last Monday, March 10, 2014, I went to Mac Rockwell for makeover. Once you purchase make up worth 5000 and above you are entitled to a makeover. Since, I wanted to learn more techniques, I grabbed this opportunity and had my makeover done by, Mr. Raf Manosca, a certified Mac Make Up Artist in Mac Rockwell. Every make up artist has their own signature way of doing make up. To be honest, there is no such thing as rules in makeup.
Here’s a step by step procedure on how he did this make up on me.
To start of he applied Fix plus on my face. After which, with a cotton ball he applied Mac Lightful Marine Bright Formula Softening Lotion which acts as a toner. Then after he applied Prep and Prime Moisture Infusion Serum to give my face an instant glow. To neutralize the redness in some areas of my face and also to neutralize the dark circles in my under eye, he applied Prep and Prime CC Color correcting SPF 30. After that, he applied Studio sculpt Foundation in Shade of NC35 and to set my foundation he applied Mineralize foundation/ loose powder. To conceal my dark circles, he applied Prolongwear Concealer in NW30 and after set it with loose powder.
He applied Petal Power blush from the fantasy of flowers collection and to contour he applied Studio Fix Pressed Powder NW48. To highlight some areas on my face he used Superb Skin Finish from Magnetic Nude Collection.
To line my eyebrows, he used Spiked Eyebrow Crayon and to fill the gaps he used the charcoal brown eye shadow (e/s). On top he applied Beguile brow set.
To prime my lids he applied the Painterly Pro longwear paint pot. To highlight the inner corner of my lid, he applied Gorgeous Gold e/s, followed by Aquadisiac e/s and in the outer third of my lid, carbon e/s. In my eye crease he applied sketch velvet e/s and in my upper crease he applied crème de violet e/s and sushi flower e/s. To highlight my brow bone he applied gorgeous gold e/s. He lined my eyes with black smoulder eye khol pencil. In my water line he applied designer purple pearlglide intense liner. Lastly he applied Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara. I really fell in love with my eye makeup.
For my lips he applied the Snap Dragon lipstick and on top applied Mac’s Cremesheen Lipglass in Playful Petal. I totally loved my lip color.

I have always wanted to be a beauty queen since I was 9 yrs old. I have looked up upon most of the beauty queens. I grew up watching beauty pageants. Aishwarya Rai was one of my favourite among them. I even used to admire her a lot and look up upon her.
This time for my blog I wanted to do something different, something I haven’t done before. Just the afternoon before I was about to work on the blog I got a flash to do this look.
Here’s my own version of a step by step tutorial on how to do this kind of makeup.
I started with my daily skin care routine of cleansing and toning. I skipped moisturizing because my face was very oily so I proceeded to applying the primer. After I applied Rcma foundation all over my face and then set it with Rcma colorless loose powder.
I applied graftobian’s pink cream blush. I opted to contour very lightly on the hollows of my cheekbones, temples, the sides of the bridge of my nose and my jaw line with Mac’s Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Dark as I noticed Aishwarya’s makeup had minimal contour as well.
Using the Graftobian’s eyebrow pallete, I filled in the gap of my eyebrows with a dark brown eye shadow (e/s).
I started with priming my eye lid with Mac Prep and Prime Medium. Then I applied Mac’s Expensive Pink e/s in half of my lid and Mac’s Satin Taupe in the other half of my lid. Then I blended my crease with my Mac’s Rice Paper e/s and applied this to my brow bone as well. Then I applied black eyeliner in my upper lash line. Then curled my lashes, applied Mac’s Loud Lash mascara and applied false eyelashes. I applied Urban Decay’s Zero 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in my water line. In my lower lash line I applied Mac’s Satin Taupe e/s.
First, I lined my lips with Mac’s Cherry Lip Pencil and then with a lip brush I applied Mac’s Russian Red Lipstick.
Here’s my version of Holiday Makeup.

I filled in the gap in my eyebrows with dark brown eye shadow (e/s) and then applied Mac’s Beguile Brow Set.
I started with priming my eye lid with Mac Prep and Prime Medium. Then I applied Mac’s Nylon e/s near my teardrop to open up my eyes and also applied this to my brow bone to highlight it. Then I applied Ell-If-I-Know Bare Minerals pigments on my lid and then applied Inglot’s AMC 65 e/s in the outer third of my lid. In my eye crease I applied Soul Sister Bare Minerals Pigments. Since it’s almost Halloween, I thought I’d do a wearable and easy makeup tutorial. I decided to do my own version of Vampire Barbie Doll Halloween Makeup Tutorial.
I started with my daily skin care routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing to get a natural glow. After which, I applied my favourite primer, Stila One Step Correcteur in my face so my makeup will last long. Followed by Make Up Forever Professional HD Foundation. To conceal my under eye dark circles I applied Mac’s Select Cover-up Concealer. To seal my makeup I applied loose powder in my entire face.
I applied Inglot’s 495 DS reddish pink multicoloured glitter eye shadow (e/s) as a blush in the apples of my cheeks. I contoured the hollows of my cheekbones, temples, the sides of the bridge of my nose and my jaw line with Mac’s Mineralize SkinFinish Natural in Dark.
I lined the top and bottom of the eyebrows with Mac’s Spiked eyebrow crayon. After which I filled in the gaps in my eyebrows with dark brown e/s.
I started by priming my entire eyelid. After which I lined my upper lash line with Mac’s Black smoulder and I smudged it to form a base. Then I used Make Up Forever Aqua Black cream eyeshadow to line my upper lash line and I made sure to extend my inner corner to exaggerate it. In my waterline I applied Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Zero. Under it I applied 377 Matte Inglot e/s and in the outer 1/3 321 matte inglot e/s. Then I curled my eye lashes and applied Mac’s Loud Lash mascara and then after I applied fake lashes.
Since I am doing a Vampire Makeup my lips should be as strong as my eyes. I lined and filled my lips with Mac’s Cherry lip pencil. Then applied on top of my entire lip Mac’s Talk that Talk lipstick from the Mac’s Riri Hearts collection.
I enjoyed doing this look. Would be happy to see you try it out as well.
